i'm having bedroom furniture fitted today. do i feed the workman or just ply him with tea?!

Don't know whether to make him a couple of sarnies or whether to just leave him to his own devices....?

I always find if you offer chocolate biscuits/cakes with the tea they do a better job.

I do usually check if they have lunch with them and make them some if not.

Depends if he is still there at lunchtime.

I offer tea and biscuits to workmen whenever I'm doing it for me. I then offer simple lunch by saying... 'well, I'm about to have a bit of something to eat.. would you like me to do you a toasted cheese sandwich or soup or something?'

They normally say they have their own, or are nipping out to local pub or something.

If you make bacon sandwiches, they give you much faster, cleaner service.
