Hello everyone,
I am looking for volunteers, parents with children, to take part in a research study titled “Performance Control and Motor Functioning”.
All participants will get a £10 Amazon voucher for completing the tasks.
The study looks at performance control – the processes that help us to perform well on different tasks. I am looking at whether individuals with dyspraxia/DCD use compensatory strategies and whether this impacts how worried they are about making mistakes and doing things correctly.
You can participate with your child if:
- Your child is between the age of 8 and 17 years old
- Your child has a formal diagnosis of Dyspraxia or Developmental Coordination Disorder
- You and your child live in the UK
- You and your child are fluent in English
The study has 3 sessions. There will be questionnaires and computer games to complete. Some by you and some by your child.
Check out this POSTER for more information.

If your child does not have Dyspraxia or Developmental Coordination Disorder, you can still take part. Sign-up using the link above and when completing the questionnaires about your child, make sure to indicate that they do not have any motor conditions.
