Argos are good. Big range and normally pretty cheap cos of their lower overheads.

Yes ELC is a bit of a disappointment nowadays.

Alot of bright plastic and expensive prices.

my bugbear about the elc is everything seems to come in either blue or pink and having one of each makes it a nightmare to choose!!! Why can't they have neutral colours???? Sorry doens't really help you!!!

PandaG · 24/10/2007 11:33

Toymaster toyshops - independant shops but group together under the Toymaster brand

Nbg · 24/10/2007 11:33

lol
I know.
Its only the baby things that seem to be neutral colours and even then they're still flourescant.

Why do you want to know?

Nbg · 24/10/2007 11:39

I'm looking for a cheapish electric/battery powered car/bike thing for dd for xmas.

I started a thread earlier but it got no replies so I'd thought I'd try scouring some shops I hadnt looked in.

"cool!!!www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B000PI4HJM/sr=1-4/qid=1193224255/ref=sr_1_4/026-2484309-9805230?ie=UTF 8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=56512031&mcb=core"

Nbg · 24/10/2007 12:13
