How much do you have left after bills.....

Not incluing food, petrol, going out etc

luxery for me, err a few items of clothing that arent 'needed' and a pack or vienesse truffles from thorntons.

when we both worked fullt time the only luxery we got was a trian fare to london to go to a rave when we'd blag free entrance lol.

About £120 per week I think.

£40 on food, about £40 on petrol, rest on clothes and shoes and anything else I guess.

well it should be about 350 but it never works out that way

Last year it was precisely zero.
This year it is, er, quite a bit actually.

okay...I've realised that I misread it - I thought the question was about how much after bills INCLUDING food, petrol, going out etc

Still not brave enough to work it out though...

About £600, £400 of that goes on food and nappies etc, £120 on petrol and the other £80 pays for activities and the like. Not much is it? The cost of living in the UK is shocking!

HMC - I asked as last night as I was having a semi breakdown after the realisation Im in way more debt than I thought and had lots less coming in than I was spending!

Hope that I didn't kill your thread walla, 'cos nobody has posted on it today.

Also hope that your financial worries sort themselves out. Can you think of any economies you can make with your outgoings?

after all my bills i have about £240 a month at the most.

I know where you are coming from - I was a serious overspender and am about £8000 in debt now. Paying it all back. SO after everthing is accounted for (including food, bills and so on) we have £150 left.

We have £235.44 left this month also having serious panics re money. Oh well its lentils and veggies for us this month

I have no idea how much I have left over - isnt that awful!! I have no idea how much my monthly bills are even though they are all direct debit. I am very ashamed to admit that.

after bills about £250. after food, bus fares, nappies etc...nothing. If I didn't have really generous parents who pay for beans childcare I wouldn't be able to eat
But I don't spend beans child benefit so could have an extra £66 to spend on luxuries.
