dc's broke up at lunchtime until a week on Wednesday. Lots of playground conversation about where people were going for the break -Dubai, Thailand, Centerparcs etc. I feel our kids spend little enough time at home as it is and they are currently happily out in the garden kicking the leaves. Have a few things arranged and dh will take some time off so we'll head to Legoland or similar but somehow don't share that urge to get away this time.

staying home, I'm working, dh will be recovering from an op he is having this afternoon.
1st year of school for us here - the thought of going away in holidays is not appealing, have just booked for the week before may halfterm.

We stay at home as no other choice. If I had the choice I would go away in the summer hols for a week, but not that bothered about staying home in any of the other hols.
