Where shall I go on holiday - I want it hot but not too far

Thats it really - after a horribel year my mum and dad have said they will have the boys so I can have a week away - I want to go somewhere that will be hot, near a beach, near to restaurants and nice bars (not magaluf!) and no more than 7 hours on a plane. I want it to be around the 80+ degree mark as well - any ideaas peeps - had thought of the caneries but it doesnt look hot enough

How about Dubai? Only about 5 hours, hot hot hot and sandy!

At what time of year? Possibley Egypt might be hor enough - but I went in february and it was too cold to sunbathe.

I went to Tunisia in March and it was just about warm enough to sunbathe, but not that warm.

You may have to look further to guarentee 80°+ - possibly Kenya?
