DS1s favourite toys - a Small Pickles Bear and Lamb given when he was born (3.5 years ago) - got lost about 10 days ago -

the house has been turned upside down looking
I've emailed London Transport lost property, plus the places we went that day... no luck

thought of replacing them... but
*Jellycat no longer make them
*have tried every internet toy company going
*have tried Jellycat head office
*Ebay have the lamb, but there is some insane bidding thing going on, even though I've bid a generous amount, we are outbid by (presumably some collector? or someone in the same position as us)... still no bear....

Billy and Lamby will be asked for at some stage (amazing it hasn't happened so far) and I am so low about how he will react

any tips on what to do? either to find an out-of-stock Jellycat or comfort hysterical/sad 3 year old

feel like crying myself - they became real little characters for all of us

so weird, the other bidder for Lamby has only ever bought saucy underwear on Ebay.... not sure what to do, might not be a genuine bidder, if you look at the other bids for the Jellycats...
