Woke up this morning and got in the shower, to get ready for work. All fine for about 2 minutes, just long enough for me to put shampoo in my hair. Then heard funny noise and the water trickled away to nothing. All the taps in the apartment seem to have dried up completely.
Water Board have no knowledge of any problems externally.
Concierge has had no other complaints/reports about no water. He's been here and had a twiddle with the water taps, etc. but still nothing at all.
So I am sat here waiting. Can't go to work as the funny noise could been a blockage (that's stopped now though, along with the water) and we did have a shower leak a month or so ago - hoping it's not related to that or the work the builders did repairing it.
DH has taken DD to nursery now, and he's off to work - having had washes using wet wipes, and doing teeth with the last of the water in the water filter from the fridge.
DD now thinks the Tiger Who Came to Tea has been visiting in the ight - and seems quite pleased bout it. No doubt she'll be telling nursery all abou t it, her version anyway. LOL!
Now have to phone work up at 8am to tell them, send cover work in or morning classes so far.
So, any bets, on how long it'll take to sort out. Going to phone concierge back at 8:30am if he hasn't got back to me. Not sure what else I can do though but wait. They will need access to apartment to sort it as all our water taps, etc. are inside.
Ho hum!
Going to finish getting dressed and then nip down to the coffee shop underneath block to get a cup of tea, and bring that back up!
