A question about poetry? no, just unrelated non motherly issues.

One in the morning and working on my dissertation and have just got stuck on a sigle word that I don't know in English and don't remeber in Spanish... How do you call those little poems that are made using the letters of a word, for example:

C Chandra is a beutiful woman who
H Has a terrible memory
A And can't find a word
N Not in English
D Definitively forgot in Spanish
R Rumanian was not an option
A And must be a bit crazy trying to find some help at this hour when most of you should be peacefully sleeping...

Don't know about england, but in america its called accrostic maybe acrostic? not sure of the spelling

I'm starting to worry about so may typos... no wonder my supervisor only comments on my spelling mistakes (should not have much time left after reviewing that...)

Dinnertime and daddy isnt home yet to help because he watched Colin when i went to Dr. You can thank DH's aunt for that bit of info on your poem, because, oddly enough, she was showing me the acrostic(accrostic?) her students did of her name last year just a few days ago. Otherwise I never would have known that. Not anything worrying, I just have a cold that has turned into pneumonia.
