How many hours do you work per week? And during holidays?

my sister works in a private nursery and she averages about 40 hours a week.

At our preschool itis 30 hours, term time only.

I was basically wondering if they are as busy as primary school teachers who have to work in the evening as well marking, planning, assessing, etc. Do you know what the salaries are like?

salary isn't great. i think about £6 or £7 an hour. my sister does do planning but i'm not sure if that's cos she's really a primary school teacher (she can't get a job atm) so she's just used to doing it.
