Disabled Parking Bay - When people move house

There are a couple of disabled parking bays on my road where it seems the original beneficiary has moved on. In one case the house is boarded up and hasn't been occupied or several months. In the other case there appears to have been a change of ownership.

Does anyone know if anything can be done about removing disabled bays when the individual has moved on. I have looked on LA website but can't find anything. Thanks

I think that if there are no signs, except for the painted 'disabled parking' on the road, anyone can park in them.

Contact your local council to see if the lines can be painted over so anyone can park there.

There's one in the next street to me, the signs have been removed and paint has been left to wear out, it wasn't repainted when they redid the others locally. People often don't park there still but guess that means the owners of the closest house always get a space to park!
