Just wondering really. I kn ow some people stay in relationships they aren't happy in just because they don't want to live on benefits and have no money, and others who think 'sod the money' and finnish a relationship in search of happiness.

I think i know what most peoples answers would be, but was just wondering really.

Sq - Well yeah i'd take both too if i could get them. Maybe thats what i mean, alot of people aren't lucky enough to get both so have to settle for one or the other.

I'm confusing myself now.

My cousin is a lucky cow mind you. She has just married the love of her life and he is loaded

Although a bit of money might be nice ...
No, definitely love.

tallulah · 17/10/2004 13:45

Married for love at 20. With hindsight, would now go for the money

No question it's love.

I can say that because the only reason I currently have money is because the love of my life was murdered. Of course I would give it all away to have him back.

Having said that, having money sure makes it easier to cope with the lack of love, and also it's much nicer and easier being in a loving relationship when you have money to spend.

But if I could only have one it would be love.

codswallop · 17/10/2004 14:01

Ojh Kate you put us all to shame! ( well a certain fish anyway!)

KateandtheGirls · 17/10/2004 14:15

dawnie1 · 17/10/2004 14:22

A loving, kind, generous millionaire would be perfect ! I'd love to love a rich man and for a rich man to love me.

JoolsToo · 17/10/2004 15:11

KATG

JoolsToo · 17/10/2004 15:13

Its got to be love - I couldn't lay down with someone I didn't love just cos he had a big wallet (I said WALLET ). Money can make your life more comfortable but I think we all know it doesn't necessarily bring happiness and who wants to be unhappy - not me!

pixiefish · 17/10/2004 15:14

KATG sending hugs{{{{{{{}}}}}} for what they're worth.
Before dd I was earning a decent wage- since dd I've gone part time and dropped to 2/5 of previous income- if we could afford it I'd stop working altogether- definetly love
