Family Medical Advice Online

I've been thinking of getting a Family Medical Dictionary - the kind of thing that you refer to for childhood and family 'ailments' (and then convince yourself you've got everything in the book!)

Anyway, it occurred to me that there is probably something even better online, perhaps a good site that offers the same kind of thing. Do any of you MN's ever refer to such a site. Is there a particularly good one I could bookmark that anyone recommends? Many thanks!

It's American but I always find myself going back to Web MD

There's also NHS online

Had a bit of a crisis last night and I looked up NHS direct and Surgery Door for some advice - both helpful.
