This will sound really stupid but i keep getting this constant feeling that i am on the verge of doing something really stupid and rebelling iykwim.

It's hard to explain really but as someone who doesn't go out that often i am suddenly wishing i could be out every night e.t.c

Sorry what a ramble, not even sure what i mean myself.

yes i knwo that feeling nutty!

dont do it on mnt hough

pixiefish · 15/10/2004 18:24

I do. Don't you just want to run for miles, scram, sing, dance, get drunk, smoke... I don't do any of these but sometimes I do get the urge to... and then it goes...

collision · 15/10/2004 18:24

Maybe you should just get out more then. Remember what a great time you had when you went out with your friend a few months ago. Treat yourself and go for a drink or a meal. Maybe you feel 'claustrophobic' being in the house all the time.

nutcracker · 15/10/2004 18:25

Oh why not coddy ??

Mind you i wouldn't really have a clue how to rebel, didn't even do much of a good job of it when i was a teenager (although my dad may disagree with that).

Just feel like going out and getting wrecked and smoking and flirting and being generally rebellious.

Do you all think i've gone potty ?? I do

nutcracker · 15/10/2004 18:30

LOL I did that this morning Pixifish, and i was out of tune too. Ds thought i was mad but i think he enjoyed it too.

See thats the other thing, i had the music balrring out where as i am ususally quite considerate and have it prettty quiet.

I know it's a midlife crisis

God, know what you mean, nutty. Would love to go out, get hammered, flirt outrageously, dance till 3am, fall over. Am just bored and fed up and it's another Friday night with nothing to do...

pixiefish · 15/10/2004 19:16

nutcracker · 15/10/2004 20:22

I feel like that all the time nutty

dawnie1 · 15/10/2004 21:37

I agree. Sometimes (OFTEN) if people could see me and DD alone they would think I was insane - I song at the top of my voice, dance like a nutter and generally completely act the fool and it feels great. DD loves it too. One Friday every few months my DH goes to stay with the MIL/FIL with DD overnight and I go out with a friend of mine and drink far too much, smoke (I NEVER smoke apart from then) and we dance like 2 insane lunatics. I always dread our nights out as they approach because 'its inappropriate behavour' (so speaks my fathers words) but its so good to just let your hair down and be 18 carefree and irresponsible every now and again.
PS I'm seeing her next Saturday and right now and dreading it but will love it when it happens _WEIRD !?!

lou33 · 15/10/2004 21:40

I do that as well dawnie

nutcracker · 16/10/2004 11:09

Snap dawnie, i always really dread it if i'm going out, but love it once i'm there.

It's the only time i smoke too.

Must try and go out again before xmas else i'll go mad.

I should have gone out more when i was younger, then maybe i would have gotten over it by now.
