It will be one of the student's cars, I know it, one of their spanked up car with whistles on top..... All I have worked out is it is out the front, not the back carparks..

Morning - hope you finally got some sleep and aren't still on MN now...when this happened to me I phoned the council when they did re-open in a mood, got through to nice noise abatement officer and he gave me a pager number to ring in future as they did have someone on-call 24 hours.

He prob regretted it as I kept it on the fridge and used it fairly frequently from then on

DOn't call anyone. Just run it over with a tank.... if you happen to have one that is

I went back to sleep, but it was still going off at 6am. As a result I overslept and had to rush the kids into school. Dh pointed out which car it was (he saw it when he took the dog out last night) so if I see the owner I will be giving him a mouthful (am v.v. pregnant so can't be held accountable for my actions)

Is it an old car? I'm sure alarms are supposed to only sound for a set time before they stop. If it happened again I'd call the police. Not 999 but just the local number for them. They may not be able to stop it but they could have a word with the owner to prevent it from happening again. They might also have an out of hours contact for the council.

It was on a new car Its stopped now, but all night it was sounding.
