SlightlyMadSweden · 19/09/2007 19:01

I guess you would have to pay import duty....or something at the very least

Nbg · 19/09/2007 19:02

I've been eyeing up a Graco Quattro Tour Duo.

Cant get it anywhere here and its sold out on babies R us selling at £249.99.
On AMazon.com its $212, so £106!!!!!!

YOu can certainly buy books from Amazon.com and have them delivered to the UK. NOt sure if it would be the same for a pushchair.

What does APO and FPO mean? In terms of shipping?

OP posts:
SlightlyMadSweden · 19/09/2007 19:03

Even with potential import duty that is still cheap...does it have the same accesories as the bru one?

SlightlyMadSweden · 19/09/2007 19:04

Air/Freight something dooda?

SlightlyMadSweden · 19/09/2007 19:05

Oh it is like BFPO

Army/freight Post office...not relevant to you

Nbg · 19/09/2007 19:06

This is what it says

"Currently, item can be shipped only within the U.S. and to APO/FPO addresses. For APO/FPO shipments, please check with the manufacturer regarding warranty and support issues."

because their economy is dying basically...

Maybe not amazon, but there are loads of internet stroller sellers and some of them will ship overseas. You would have to pay the duty on it, and would have to send it back there for repairs if necessary.

Nbg - the weak dollar also has an influence on the apprent cost over here.
