Where I can order flowers over the net to be delivered to home?

I am wanting a bunch of flowers to be sent to my mum's for her birthday (in less than 2 weeks). I was originally going to order them off tescos (as it was the only place I knew of) but they don't specify particular dates for them to be delivered (although they do have next day delivery but not sure if they delivery on saturdays) I would just go to my local flower shop but with dd, it would be a nightmare so would rather get it done on the internet. Any one know of any other websites that I can order flowers from? xxx

IIRC Debenhams do them, but you could always try interflora.

I woas going to say tesco, tam.If you order before 3 in the afternoon, they will deliver next day.I've ordered from them and the flowers were lovely. And I'm sure you can input a specific date.

why don't you phone your local flower shop.if they are local to your mum aswell they will deliver on the day.Any interflora shop will take a delivery for a specific day, most people order for a certain day.
BTW we have three shops so know what I'm on about.

Tesco! Really good service and excellent flowers - I use them regularly! You can specify date and Saturdays are included - my sister got some from me yesterday morning for her promotion - I've always founf they deliver on time and on the date you specify. HTH

i have done this loads of times i live hundreds of miles away from the recipients but always hey say the bouqets are stunning. i just google for a florist in the intended area - and ring them up ask then if they deliver - for £15 they have got some amazing flowers - that usually bat the shit out of supermarkets and interflora - who put extra on top.

I use yell.co.uk & fin dlforists in the area & then ring them up. Usually get much nicer flowers than from Interflora.

M&S do them and the ones that I have received and sent are always very nice.

Can I just point out that Flying Flowers are MUCH less expensive than most, and altho the selection of bouquets is smaller than other sellers, they have always been very fresh and lasted a long time when I've ordered from them.

TurnAgainCat · 11/10/2004 10:37

Post a rose does really good quality roses by internet quite affordably. Can't recall address but search for Post a Rose.

TraceyP · 11/10/2004 10:53

I wouldn't recommend Flying Flowers for the simple reason that they use first class post - I had some delivered once that the postman took back because I wasn't in, the card to say they had been delivered arrived on the following day (Saturday) after the sorting office had closed, and by the Monday all I had were dead carnations.

Tesco are really good, and I'm sure that you can specify a delivery date.

thanks everyone. xxx

You can get them from www.Thorntons.co.uk which is handy if you want to send chocolates too.

charity flowers

I've both had and sent flowers from Charity Flowers and they were great. They are a not for profit organisation and you get to choose from a long list of charities where you would like your money to go to. Have tried to put a link in at the start of this message but have never done it before so fingers crossed!
