Anyone who cares to, thanks so much in advance

Head up high and smile!

Hope it goes okay for you. the playground can be far worse for parents than for the children I think.

ronshar · 19/09/2007 14:56

I stand alone and I am proud of it.
All the others mums are just bitching and trying to make out that there child is so much better than every one else. Do you want to be part of that??

Wait until little one makes a few friends invite them to tea and then you get to know the mums worth knowing.

Good luck. Be proud.

mustsleep · 19/09/2007 14:58

you can stand with me in spirit as i too stand alone in the playground

sod them all that's what i say

stressteddy · 19/09/2007 15:00

I'm right behind you all waving...look that's me with the mad pink scarf on (even though it's September)
Please look round for me when you are in playground
Helloooo [smile}

stressteddy · 19/09/2007 15:00

ronshar · 19/09/2007 15:56

Nice pink scarf. I must get myself one of those.

loler · 19/09/2007 16:03

I'm the one with the scream 3wk old ds, haven't brush hair, baby sick down my back praying for dd to get a wriggle on. Smile at me too (not the pitying condecending smiles of the other mothers I normally get!)

ronshar · 19/09/2007 16:07

I was there 3yrs ago with my dd2. Little monkey always wanted feeding at 3pm. Great when dd1 not at school not so great when waitng at the gate to pick her up.
Other mums are so unforgiving, why are they perfect?

ronshar · 19/09/2007 16:09

Loler, just looked at your pictures.
My god your children are beautiful.
ps I am not a stalker honest.

crossma · 19/09/2007 16:41

Just to say thanks everyone - I survived another day

Ronsar - exactly, the so-called parents are worse than children and the bitchiness and one-up-man-ship is what gets me down too. I hate it because

  1. they chat with me until one of the others turn up

  2. they are all so perfect, manage to fit in everything never arrive looking like they have done any housework, yet their homes are spotless - even those without cleaners

  3. their little one never has a problem settling into school, loves going to school, eats healthy lunch no problems, loves healthy food every bit of it

  4. etc etc etc etc!!!!!!!!!

Well done crossma - keep thinking of us all right behind you
You did well today
These mum's who are supposedly perfect all pick their noses and poo in a toliet ya know!!!!

ronshar · 19/09/2007 19:28

No they are none of those things. They just want every one else to think they are.

loler · 19/09/2007 20:45

ronshar - thanks, you brought tears to my eyes, feeling very hormonally charged at the moment!

Crossma - keep going only 2 days till the weekend. In my case only 11 more years of it - hoping you've got less!
