SUPPORTED ACCOMODATION 21 WEEKS pregnant and a 1 year

Hey moms,

I'm in a pretty shitty situation. I'm currently in temp accomodation after being evicted for rent arrears I had (2k). The landlord didnt want a payment plan and wanted the full amount back at once. He evicted me a week before the lockdown.

I went from a b and b to the 2 bed house I'm in now. Now I've been looking around like a crazed woman for private rented and they keep saying move in after lockdown. To make things more sticky because lf the arrears my housing officer has now deemed me intentionally homeless and wants to put me in supported accomodation for 2 years.

I checked the website and that is literally like jail. Potentially 2 years of 24/7 CCTV....

I have asked her to ask her manager to at least let me stay here until lockdown has eased off and I can move somewhere mpre permanent because if I dont move now, moving with a one year old and new born and all my belongings just is not happening.

Is there anything else I can do to stop this horrendous move into supported accomodation? It's not like I want to stay at this place either but it is miles better rhan going to supported accomodation. The neighbours are weird and like to sit in their garden and watch me from the kitchen which has no blinds and the place is riddled with ants that are crawling into my LO nappies even when they are in the nappy bags🤢

Sorry for it being so long but my stress levels are at 10000

I don't know much about supported accommodation, so couldn't tell you if it was like how you describe or not. Are you tied to the area you are in through a job, or could you afford to move elsewhere? i would call the shelter helpline (link attached) and talk to one of the advisors there about what to do next. all the best x
