Thats it really. I know there are a few pressie threads at the mo but i am a bit stuck.

Dd1 will be 7 on 11/11 and Dd2 will be 5 on 12/12 and obviously xmas is shortly after.
They are having a bike each as their main birthday pressie and have thought of stuff that they would liike for xmas but i am painfully aware that the small fortune i spent last year is now lying in the bottom of a toy box hardly ever played with.

So just wondered what you are getting really.

Nutvracker - the doll's house sounds a bargain. Is the offer still available and, if so, where from?

Mine have requested a fully furnished (their choice) playhouse from GLTC - they were disappointed to hear that they wouldn't be getting one.

Probably a bike for the youngest and they've taken a fancy to some hand made rag dolls. Have to cut down as we just don't have the space for it all.

As i said, it does say from age 14yrs, but they reckoned it would be suitable from 7/8 yrs.

Am hoping mine will come on monday as i have had stuff from them before and they have been great.
I am going to assemble it before deciding which furniture to get and from where.

If when i assemble it, i decide it is not suitable then i will sell it.

Hope it is o.k as i will of saved myself a fortune.

ds2 got a 'sweet shop' for Christmas last year, and it was definitely his "WOW" present! We got it from Tescos, it was about £6.

That looks a good dolls' house, Nutty. very easy to get into. Can't see why they say 14 yrs!

Scaltygirl - A draught excluder?!! was she chilly?!

I'm so please for you SG ... my ds1 rejected Olga da Polga (very unusal for him to reject a book), and it was one of my favourites as a child
