Yes yes yes Yorkiegirl. I always get my hair chopped at important times in my life and it is so liberating!! Especially if you've lost all that weight-it'll lift your gorgeous slim face. DO IT!!
(Have just re-read your post. You did "want"to lose weight didn't you? If not then I'm sorry)

Well i have had mine cut short 3 times and hated it every time but everyone is different so it's hard to say.

You won't really know until you do it.

Oh and I always regret having cut my hair shorter. It's so much harder to manage and with small children you need to be practical!!!!!

If you don't really want anything drastic why not have a little restyle or even better...some gorgeous colour!! Now THAT would really cheer you up. Some lovely highlights.Yes. Change of season, change of look...I am excited for you

I found the pic

I have never regretted having my hair cut short, whenever I've done it. Up here it gets very windy, and woolly hats are the order of the day for about 6 months of the year, so prissy blow-dry styles are out of the question. Short hair is much more practical - takes 2 mins to wash it, and 5 to dry! Go for it woman, you know you want to!

Just to explain - the grin was smug one because I found the picture, (before your link posting it)

Not a grin because of your picture - just thought I should make that clear!

Yorkie girl - thanks I thought that was you! How about having a re-style and highlights. Without going too short as I think your hair suits you longer!!!!!

Yes-not too short. Some layers to muss it up a bit (plenty of product remember) and some gorgeous highlights. You'll feel like a whole new Yorkiegirl.

I am a great believer in getting what you pay for at hairdressers. The more senior stylist you can afford they are better at advising you on what will suit you and what colours to put in.
God-I really have to get my boys out of the bath but there is a hair thread!!! No-one start talking about clothes or they'll just dissolve.

I had shoulder length wavey hair for 20 years. Finally had it chopped off after recovered from post natal depression last year. Best thing I ever did. It's given me a whole new lease of life. I have more confidence and am more out going and feel my age. I actually still can't believe what having a new hair do did for me. But that's me, I fully recomend it and if you don't like it grow it again.
