Can you recommend any - what's St Helier's like? (For my s-i-l) Has anyone given birth there?

Had DS1 at St Helier (I live in Wallington) and I thought it was fine, both antenatally and postnatally. Building is a bit tatty, though.

Had DS2 and DS3 at home with the community midwife team and care was even better .

Does SIL not want to use Mayday?

My bil has heard and experienced negative things about Mayday in general. Sil is not local to the area, so has no experience. I live in West London but found that MN really useful for getting feedback on things so thought I'd give it a try....

East Surrey - bit overstretched atm apparently

Would recommend Epsom. I know its closing but reading other threads not til Aug 08. Excellent care. Worth asking.
