He's finally decided to go for the managers position he's be "advised" to go for. And one of the things that is reguarly discussed at team meetings (but in "very" brief at the end) is
What sort of things the company can offer as rewards for good sales etc. Nothing too expensive, has to be "cost effective" but exciting - what sort of "rewards" would you like/do you give/get in your company for good results?
Also they have a yearl sales conference - which is, when all said and done a rather plain and boring affair - facts and figures read out, top 10 sales officers "prize" (or in case of 4-10 a certificate ), top sales team announced, targets for the folliwing year announced, food and drink given.......end of day.
What other "quirky" awards could their be, do you/your company do the "formal" bit in the mornings and then something more "interesting" in the afternoon (bear in mind that all sales officers work on their own so only get to meet up 12-15 times a year - so this is a rare opportunity to get together. Dh was thinking something along the lines of darts/pool/team "competitions" in the afternoon with each regional team competing against each other.
BUT he wants YOUR ideas (and yes he really did just call me to ask my "online community of friends" for ideas )
