how to explain what a niqab is to my dd

so we have a neighbour who was wearing a niqab and my dd who is 2.5yrs old pointed at her and said what's that? now luckily the lady didnt hear but how do I explain what she as wearing to my daughter?

It could be a good opportunity to meet your neighbour so she can talk to your daughter about it

Why not just be factual?: She is from a different faith and culture where they believe that it is proper for adult women to cover their hair and parts of their body when out and about.
