Is there a Gransnet? Or do you know of any good sites for older folks

I was singing the praises of MN to my MIL recently, and she was very enthusiastic about joining a forum. On reflection, I know that she would not cope with some of the blunter moments on MN. Has anyone found anything suitable for older relies? I've though of Friendsreunited - but she's a very fit and energetic 82, so most of her friends aren't there anymore. Any other suggestions much appreciated . . .

When my Mum died a few years ago, I checked this out for my Dad and the best I could find at the time was a group called the Silver Surfers (I think they were on Yahoo). Don't know if the group still exists though - my Dad never went on it as he found himself a girlfriend instead...
