We are a family of four (me, my husband and our two sons - 4yo and 7mo). I'm doctor and my husband is in IT. We have been living in London for last 9 years but are originally from Pakistan.
My husband's employer has opened a new branch in Bristol and is offering the employees to move to Bristol permanently.
As London property prices are very high, we are planning to move to Bristol and buy a three-bedroom house there. I have checked online and following areas seem to be in our budget (which is around 250k): Knowle, Warmley, Hanham, Emerson Green, Yate, Shirehampton, Kingswood, Longwell Green, Keynsham, Bishopsworth.
Can anyone please advise if these areas are safe to live (for a Pakistani family)? What are the demographics of these areas? Do any south Asian families live there?
Are any other areas that we should consider?
Any other suggestions (for example regarding schools)?
