They are both evening dos. I'll spend no more than 100 but would rather spend less. I can get to a Hennes, River Island, Dorothy Perkins, Next, Debenhams. I'm 33, have a bit of a tummy, take about a size 14. Want to look cool/trendy not girly/dressy iykwim.
Any suggestions?

Sexy trouser suit and killer heels?

teabelly · 29/09/2004 09:42

Agree with Lou33 - I did this afew months ago. You can change the tops/accessories and it'll look like two new outfits. High heels always make my tummy appear flatter too that and bridget jones knickers

Thomcat · 29/09/2004 10:27

Oh no I so don't do heels though, I hate them, I am comfort factor 1000%. How about a sexy trouser suit and shell toe addidsa trainers!!!!!!!! Well okay, small heels, kitten styley?

CountessDracula · 29/09/2004 10:54

I think you should wear

A pvc mini dress with holes cut out around the nipples

Fishnets

9 inch heels

lou33 · 29/09/2004 10:54

I could lend you that outfit, but cd has it on loan atm.

CountessDracula · 29/09/2004 10:55

lou you can have it back after I have worn it to that christening next week

Thomcat · 29/09/2004 10:56

Thanks cd, because I have a school harvest festival to attend.

TC, kitten heels would be lovely too. Trouser suit and a change of top/accessories would be ok. Or you could wear no top underneath and keep the jacket buttoned, but put your best bra on.

CountessDracula · 29/09/2004 11:04

you want serious? I can do that.....

Well I think you should wear a funky suit and dress it up.

motherinferior · 29/09/2004 11:06

TC, I can't do heels at all, even kitten ones - I spotted some nice chisel-toed flat ankle boots in Next which would look pretty good, I reckon.

CountessDracula · 29/09/2004 11:08

I don't like heels either

motherinferior · 29/09/2004 11:10

I have small flat feet like flippers. Quite nice flippers, but flippers nevertheless. They make all attempts at girliness a disaster. I've tried and tried. Rely on cleavage as a distraction.

blossomhill · 29/09/2004 11:12

Do you like it or is it too black for a wedding?

Thomcat · 29/09/2004 12:31

Mother inferiior - you are my kind of a gal! Clevage and no heels! Yes, yes, yes!!!

bh - no I think it's really nice and will pop in there Saturday morning.

Thomcat, there are loads of Indian shops near to you aren't there? get yourself down to Kingsbury High Road or Ealing Road in Wembley and buy a couple of outfits there! They are usually more flattering to those of use with a bit of a tummy too!
