Trying to get organised for christmas early due to growing bump. I always leavre this pressie until the last minute.....

In recent years I have bought him.....science-y related books, activites; books on tape/cd; books in general

H eloves lego and model making ut has so much lego it is coming out of his ears and he does all the really tricky stuff so I wouldnt know where to begin.

Doesn't have to be online...

We had a good look at it for ds (who's five but reading fluently for his age) and I think he is too young, but I'd say your daughter would be well up for it Batters. I think you can still request a sample issue from them, a good idea given it's not on the newsstands.
Ds is currently obsessed with that Round the World with Scooby-Doo part-work. I never thought I'd be buying a deAgostini product

Batters - on the Aquila website you can order a back copy as a sample to have a look and see. I got one for ds1 (who's just 7) and he was instantly besotted with it.

There is a lot of text in it, so they need to be very fluent readers. I wouldn't give it to ds2 for a year or so yet (he's 5 and exceptionally good reader for his age, but he's not ready for this).
