Q for all you helpful mums in SW London - "home" shops

having moved house a couple of months ago, and failed miserably to get on with the task of sorting out curtains / additional furniture / light fittings - are there any lighting or furniture shops worth visiting in the general SW London area? I don't live there but thought it might be worth a bank holiday weekend outing from the SE postcodes (which makes me think - any recommended spots for picky toddler lunches)?

What sort of things are you after
I mean what style

For lighting there is Christopher Wray on New Kings Rd, in fact the Kings Rd in general is good plenty of smaller independent shops plus Habitat, Heals, Peter Jones etc. Some nice smaller ones near World's End.

Sheen has good independent ones, there is a bed shop, plenty of furniture/nik nak shops and cheaper than Kings Rd

there is a fab 2 floor antiques market in kingston, not too expensive and some nice stuff, i bought two fantastic mirrors there for not much at all.

Wimbledon is nice. Lots of family friendly restaurants and cafes, and a beautiful park.

Chiswick has the old cinema place, lots of floors of antiques
