Its my birthday today and Ive had to cancel all nice things from NO SLEEP

Im very miserable and low. My period has come and its rotten as Ive not slept very weel for days (why does that happen with pmt?? & why isnt my coil stopping all this shi*o) and Im about to down shot 30mls of Jan de vries at once. DD2 was up from 2 all the way through , Im thinking teething as we gave her calpol and half an hour later she thought it was playtime and started throwing her teddies out !!

I was meant to be having my nails done and my homestart women coming , but Ive got to go to bed when dd2 does as Im beyond myself. Im not fit to drive like this and cant bare the thought of it all . To make it worse dd2s swollen nose looks really yellow.

The little silver lining is that dh has bought us tickets to see Hairspray on stage in Oct and a night at the Metropolitan. How lovely is that.

I still want to stomp today like a spoilt 4yr old as Im in poor me exausted mode and am unashamedly asking for sympathy

Definitely go to bed when dd does, think of it as a little bithday treat... I love sleeping in the day, it always feels a bit decadent somehow. Hope she has a long kip for you!

Thing is I dont relax completely knowing Im alone in house asleep if you get me. Hoping I will though. My girls,(dh said lol , theyre 3 and 1 yr), got me a new buddha bar type cd , so may be ill put that on.

just couldnt get to sleep , dozed in and out of frettful anxious tossing and turning gggggggggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

at least I managed to sort dessert and a drink out with some friends Ive also got a ragu bubbling for later, tried a new recipe , not sure yet , it looks strange!!!!

well dh isnt happy as its not my usual recipe lol , but its a sofrito , mince , MILK which has to simmer away 1st before adding other things , white wine , which again has to simmer away before adding tomaotoes then has to simmer for 3 hrs , IM at the simmer way wine stage !! I manged to throw in the champagne we opened at the weekend, so its a real birthday ragu !!

Dinner was ok , dh complained because it wasnt as rich and dark as the other version . What a bloody cheek & on my birthday too , I should have poured it all over him instead !

I did get out last night here and had a lovely lovely evening in the end, got champagne bought for me and a few lovely and very thoughtful presents, my sister did mny hair for the evening too, so the day worked out quite nice in the end. Thank you for letting me have a moan and a grump !!!
