because I really don't want to have to afford to.
don't get me wrong, he wears nice clothes- but do I have to go a bit more smart?
he is 2 and a half

No, a 2yo can wear whatever he, or you, like.

No. You don't have to. When DS has been to weddings, he has worn normal clothes. I have made sure they look cleaner than he does normally , but that's about it .

Fingerwoman, I have a smartish shirt from BHS age 2 yrs that you can have for nothing if you want it ?? Ds wore it to a wedding and i think once to a party and that was it.

It's white with blue criss cross pattern on, would go with jeans or trousers.

nutcracker · 15/08/2007 23:16

Not a clue why i still have it as Ds is nearly 5.

Bump

Won't be offended if you don't want it by the way

clean and tidy will do for most small kids. bridesmaids and page boys apart.
That said- small boys look fab in kilts, but I team it with a black t rather than a frilly shirt like my mum used to make us wear.

there are always loads of gorgeous linen things on ebay that people have bought for a wedding. bought ds really lovely shirt for 99p, which i'm sure must have been about £25 new. worth a look.
