BT have new 'system'. If phone line has been stopped at the house you're moving to (which it has in our case) then they take some details and pass them on to another 'new order' department who are supposed to ring you back within 5 days. Anyway they've not rung me back so rang yesterday and today to try and find out what's going on (just through to general 'moving home' dept on 150) and they've said they cannot help me because they are on completely different system blah blah,
ANyway, was on hold to the new order department for over an hour yesterday and have now been on hold for over an hour. I'm getting really worried. house we're moving to has crap reception and we have to have a phone line but I have no way of getting one it seems.
Any suggestions? are there any other companies I can use apart from BT. I know that wiht Sky for e.g you still have to have a BT line and at the moment I don't (all the line is in, it's just not activated IFYKWIM).
