I am having trouble finding a rountine with housework, and am not adjusting very well to ther increase of size of property.

Everything just seems to take twice as long and i get fed up half way through.

I'm don't want to freakily neat of anything like that but would just like to think i could spontaneously invite someone round without having to think about it.

So rountines, tips e.t.c. greatly appreciated

Housework??? Rotine????
I pay someone 15quid a week and I fill in the blanks.
Make beds in morning, poss put on a wash, load dishwasher. Unload /hang up clothes when I get in. Give kitchen floor a clean while cooking. Clean sink as and when after I've brushed teeth, just do a job as and when while I'm there tbh.
I have to say that without the great help I have from a cleaner I'd be lost. we can't really afford it but I don't condider it a luxury and it has to be done. I couldn't cope with being a working mum of a SN child without one.

housework, routine??? I am sooo slack at the moment - but hey I am 34 weeks pregnant with a toddler... will be more organised one day I am sure.

basically like tc I do it as I see it... clean the bathroom sink or bath as I am there, wipe over kitchen floor as I think of it, hoover when I can.

Do laundry regularly though and iron dh's shirts as they are washed. - Usually once a week.

Tidy the loungeroom of dd's toys after she has gone to bed, dh does the dishwashing and sometimes the tidying.

Sorry no real help.
