ok i realise that most people who read this will think ive gone completely mad!!!!

Just spent 3 lovely days at Disneyland Paris with my 2 DS (aged 8)

Its really not my cup of tea but got totally involved, wore minnie mouse ears etc etc

Thing is we went on Space Mountain (one of the very fast rides) and 2 days on Ive got really horrible neck ache. Not bothered about that - but feel really really guilty that I let boys go on it. It was really horrible - i hated it but im worried they'll have some long term damage from it.

Paranoid alert*
If Ive got neck ache how do i know that the boys havent got some long term damage from it. What about their poor little heads????

I knnow im mad typing this - but can someone reassure me that it wont have done them any long term harm.???????

Thankyou!!!!

You probably got sore neck because as grown ups we tend to tense up more because life has made us more conscious of our fear - kids just roll with it. I am sure they are fine.

GoingThroughChanges · 09/08/2007 15:15

I assure you, it won't have done them any long term harm

There... you reassured now?

LIZS · 09/08/2007 15:15

I always ache afer a day out on those type of rides but no more so than from dodgems ! I really don't think they'll have come to any harm , you ache because you braced yourself against the forces but they probably won't have done. Personally I love Space Mountain but there are other rides I just don't.

Space Mountain has been around for a very long time - there would be millions of people with neck damage suing the ar$e off Disney if there were a problem

oh you are all soooooooooooo lovely and reassuring.

They havent complained at all.

Apart from hating it at the time (it was the first ride we went on) I hadnt given it a second thought until woke up this morning with neck ache and then thought - oh my poor babies little brains - what have i put them through.

And i really wasnt expectng to enjoy any of it but I looooooved the parade etc. Ran around all over the place getting photos.
