Julie Walters.

I would have like Germaine Greer, despite there having been a Germaine stalker who wanted her to be her mum.

dissle · 07/08/2007 22:19

I am Lapins twin on this one. Ponies all round.

mummydoit · 07/08/2007 22:23

Nooooo!!! You can't have Billy Connolly as your Dad. He may be really funny but imagine the embarrassment of him telling stories about you on stage!

controlfreakyflitwick · 07/08/2007 22:23

lisa tarbuck
jenny eclair

dissle · 07/08/2007 22:25

oh id love it..to be able to see humour in every thing is such a fab gift, i would want to inherit that and then i would go on stage and tell stories about him...the incontinence pants...fantastic!

No, my mum is best

However, she looked like Nigella Lawson when she was younger, & I look like Marianne Faithful. A Nigella / Marianne hybrid mum would be interesting I think. Sort of rock'n'roll cake baking uber mummy

Biglips · 07/08/2007 22:36

nobody as my mum is perfect..............sometimes!!!

i wouldnt change her for anything!! (Am i normal??)

aloha · 07/08/2007 22:36

Interesting that people want funny, independent, feisty mothers, don't you think?

Good point aloha - funny, independent & feisty are all things that I would like to think I am, as a mother.

Although wise, sensitive, endlessly patient, consistently calm, organised and energetic would be good too. Err... I can dream
