I'm just asking in general if your DC enters national competitions and say you didn't want an absent father or someone finding out can you alter a DC name for this purpose? I'm more thinking high end competitions where there is recordings of games and names online.

You can request names are not put online I think as you can with school. I'm not sure about the name but many forms have a known as box which you could put different name I suppose

Yes but this wouldn't work as professional players want to check your previous scores and stats it impossible not to have a name to go by. I'm assuming I can use a known as?
