We bought a new car after ours was written off by an idiot driver.The garage told us about a scheme which refunded the entire purchase price of the new car if it was written off within 2 years.We declined,thinking that it couldn't possibly happen again-but it did.18 months later the new car was written off in an accident too.What made it even worse,was that the 2nd accident was caused by someone who lived in the same street as the person who'd caused the original accident.
On a happier note,dh & I had been told that after 3.5 years of trying for a baby,that it was unlikely we'd ever concieve.So I jacked in my job with generous maternity benefits & carpets the whole house in cream carpet,thinking that it wouldn't matter as No one was going to spill Ribena ect on it.4 months later I was pregnant.
