I've got a wish list for our DD, but would love to save some pennies and shop the sale ... anyone know when that might be?

J, C & R - of course I will use Mumsnet connection!

tiptop - not much left on the sale, already but will manage somehow. Loved your suggestion to write about my cities in minutes experiences - it really is like that most times - airport to office to hotel - out to dinner, if I'm lucky, and a free hour or two if I'm really lucky! The thing is, I could easily schedule trips with extra time for myself (for example, have meetings on a Friday and stay the weekend, or take a vacation day or even half a day, etc) but really want to get home to DH and DD ASAP ... next week will be a real test - Lisbon, Munich and Madrid all in one week. Sounds so glam jet-setter, but such a drag! Still, there are those mad-dashes to look forward to ...

Tartegnin - Oh, what a shame there was so little left. Do take another look at the site every few days until it ends, though, incase new things come in. I don't know what they do with the returns that people send back, whether these go back in the sale or not, but you might be lucky.

I know what you mean about getting back home to the family. That's what dh does. Occasionally, though, I persuade him to have some time to himself if he'd love to spend some time in the area. I notice that you didn't mention Wales or it's cities in your list of lovely places that you visit!

SecondhandRose - I'm glad you had some items you wanted. I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of my parcel!

Tiptop - Wales isn't on my business travel schedule, but high up on our personal wish list - DH used to spend lovely holidays with grandparents there and really wants to replicate with DD. If we can ever fit it in, will contact you for advice!

Oooh! Yes! Which area did your dh's grandparents live in? Between dh and I, we have quite a bit of knowledge about Wales. I know the square mile around where I was born, and he knows the rest!

Don't forget, Tartegnin, there's usually a Winter Sale in December! How are you doing, anyway?!
