Super mum - apron, duster etc suspenders sexy undies underneath - super wife

60's woman...balck wig, knock up a simple shift mini dress (shape good for hiding hips and tummy) and make a cape (for the superhero bit) then get a few 60's type things from a fancy dress/jokeshop and bob is your proverbial uncle

ground rules: fancy dress should make you look good; and should not be too clever as you then spend all night explaining it to not-well-hidden yawns (or is that just me)

there is a comedy programme on bbc three called 'touch me, i'm karen taylor'. it's quite funny and she did a sketch last week, where she foiled a robbery and freed a hostage as super hero 'premenstrual girl'.

she was basically no make up, messy hair, pj's, dressing gown, eating chocolate, moaning alot in between crying and wanting a hug. was very funny sketch, have tried to find it on youtube but not there unfortunatley

How about: skirt, boots, top with a fabric letter stitched to it & a cape & wig?

Ok, could you not get a long black dress, long black wig and paint your boat white with dramatic makeup and go as 'SuperMorticia', Bit lame I know. Or you could wrap yourself in the bubble wrap, cut a hole to breath of course and go as SupaBubble.
