How do i get a new one?

It is with T-Mobile and he was tied in for 12 months. Will they just provide us with a new one/same number?

I am clueless!

yes if he is insured. does he pay an extra £2 or so a month for insurance?
if he isn't... he needs to try and extract his sim card from the phone and go and buy a new phone to put it in. minimum about £100 for a handset without a contract attached I'm afraid.
Number won't change, even if the dog has eaten the sim card they will give you one of those again for free, it is the actual phone that is the problem!

ps just get him to call tmobile, they will tell him what is what.
and if he bought hte phone in the previous month from eg carphone warehouse, they will just replace it no questions asked even if he didn't have insurance.
hth

My dh has just lost his phone (on contract with tmobile). They stopped the sim and sent him a new one (£10). Our home owners insurance covered the phone, but with a £75 excess. However these guys are really great and reliable for used phones, so we used the insurance money we did get and bought a used phone which was mailed to us (paid by debit card on phone). I've used these guys for unlocking phones, repair and buying and selling new phones for several years now and they have always been honest. Talk to Mark.
