Little tikes outdoor toys such as activity gym (cube shape with slide) or sit and ride toys eg car rocking horse/motorbike.

those ... oh god how to explain in, like a stack of funnels that forms a tower and the baby posts ping pong balls down it and they spiral down a track to the bottom. That kept my one year old busy constantly since his birthday last week.

If you're close to a makro they are doing FANTASTIC little mini rocking horses, wooden base and everything for TWENTY quid!!!

suzywong - do you mean a Pop Up Ball Blast by Fisher Price? Makes lots oof flashing lights and tunes too. DD had one of those and adored it,. Gave it to nursery eventually and all the children there had huge fun with it. They all also liked ELC's Funky Footprints to crawl and toddler all over.
