I remember my mum took me to see Basil Brush in pantomime when I was little. Our seats were right next to a speaker and whenever he "boom boomed" we were practically deafened!
Basil is actually quite funny these days. He told a joke that really made me laugh the other day but being the typical female I can't remember what it was.
