National insurance credits for Mum

Morning, just trying to find out how long I am entitled to national insurance credits? I’m currently a stay at home mum and have been for the last 3 years. National insurance record has been kept up to date since I left my job because of the credits. Currently have DS 13, DS 7, DS3. What is the maximum amount of time for receiving national insurance credits? Many thanks

I think it's age 12 for the kids (it's was) but check on the government website as they have a habit of changing things

You need to claim child benefit, even if it’s at zero rate. That’s what allows you to get the pension credits.
