Need to buy a posh outfit - is Bluewater worth the trip?

I need to get an outfit that will do me for some weddings and christenings - the first of which is next week

I am in SW London but can't face Central London with 2 LOs.

I've never been to Bluewater - is it worth the drive?
Is the creche busy would I need to book in advance?

Anywhere else you can suggest?

would book the creche in advance to be on the safe side. It's not normally full but you don't want to miss out. I think it is worth the trip, or why not jsut go to croydon?

Bluewater is much better than you'd think from all those news stories about banning 'hoodies' etc ? there are lots of decent shops. Never used the creche though.

i always use the creche if im on a major hunt for something! Ds who is 4.6 was there on friday and in 2 hours did painting,drawing,roll play and made 3 new friends! Do book as they do get busy later on in the day. I think its £5.50 ph

I would say it is worth the drive. I personally LOVE Bluewater. At least if weather is bad its all under one roof as well. As Ruby said, look on their website then you can see whats there. 3 main stores are M&S, John Lewis & House of Fraiser. Never tried the creche though.

Chopster - I was considering Croydon but would prefer to put the 2 yr old in a creche to reduce whinging while I shop

Whereabouts in SW London? If you are quite far west then Brent Cross might be a better option.
