Can anyone give me a rusk recipe that doesn't contain sugar or salt

The only rusks I have ever found tht don't contain sugar or salt are Bickiepegs. But they don't taste particularly nice!

The sugar is necessary for the baking, not just the taste. I can't remember exactly why though, something to do with what it does when melted, bonding grains together in a soft structure, I think.

Hipp Organic rusks are nice and not too sweet. Ditto Boots organic rusks.

Actually, we might not like the taste of Bickiepegs, but both of mine loved them whenthey were teething.
