Best advice I can give is to go and see a family law solicitor for a consultation. First one is usually free. And if the solicitor talks about being fair to her DH, get a different one.

goto CAB or look to go to RELATE it all depends on why she is considering - is she serious tehn go to solicitors if she thinks they can work it out then a more caring / counselling approach may be best - she would be able to claim Income support and child tax credit if she is in a difficult relationship and she leaves she would be housed by lA
