dont know i orderd mine from Next on saturday just gone, and they came today

shhhh · 16/07/2007 20:06

I recommend taylorshoes 100%. I agree atm there is not a huge amount of stock BUT I have ordered loads off them for family and friends etc and find if you email them and ask when stock is due in they will get back to you. Remember a time difference so that can cause slight delays but they will come back to you.
If you give them lots of choice then they may suggest other items ie caymen in lavender..they may have them in beach etc. I susually find them good although agree stock does seem to be a problem.
Be prepared that delivery can take days to 2 weeks and you may need to pay VAT once in the uk.....BUT imo always cheaper than ebay and uk etc.
Just email and keep pushing.

DoubleBluff · 16/07/2007 20:07

There are loads in the shops here now.
Even our local camping store is selling them.

shhhh · 17/07/2007 08:28

db,usa prices are half uk prices...so if not in a hurry or desperate etc...

PinkChick · 17/07/2007 09:48

well ive rang the palce local who usually stocks loads and they havent had their summer delivery yet???..dont know what it is with getting them in lately? and clinkards DID stock to kids caymans in lavender which dd wants but none in any of the stores andywhere???

OP posts:
shhhh · 17/07/2007 15:48

lavender is not really accessable by uk stockists atm and can usualy be easily bought from usa. So you may struggle atm.

I bought celery and lavendar crocs for myself and dd from usa. Couldn't find any heee..BTW what kids size do you want..? I have a toddler pair of celery going spare . Brand new. Bought 2 sizes for dd "just in case" .!!!

Keep on at Taylor shoes. I usually find that they do "deliver" the goods eventually and will update you....

PinkChick · 17/07/2007 15:49

have you? shes a usa 10-11 i think, we tried the 8-9's o her(her normal size) at weekend and they were v.tight so i guess 10-11?????

OP posts:
PinkChick · 17/07/2007 15:50

and BTW your last pic on profile was fab!your bump was humungus!

OP posts:
shhhh · 17/07/2007 16:02

dam its 8/9 that I have spare.... I will see if I can dig out other email address's for taylorshoes as I have ordered loads from them over the last 1-2 years...May be better if you can try and contact them on different addresses...Will be back in a moment.

Aww thanks..! Yeah I was huge. In fact I was huge at 3 months lol.! I'd had x2 mc's before dd and ds so guess I would have been classed as being pregnant 4 times hence my size! My theory anyway! dd was 9lb 4oz YET ds (my 2nd) was a huge 9lb 13 oz . At 4ft 1in...that was a shock!

Prob explains the massshoooiivvveee bump!

littleolwinedrinkerme · 17/07/2007 16:13

PinkChick - its a sign, listen to it! You can't order them because the WWW has just realised what a 'Crocofshit' they look like on anyone!!!!!! Don't dooooooo iiiiiittttttt!!!!!!!!..................

shhhh · 17/07/2007 16:23

personal taste.

Try: [email protected]

Let me know how you get on x

PinkChick · 17/07/2007 16:49

LOL, ive just talked dd into getting the 'pink' cayans and i ordered the 'pink'(although i do like celery mary janes...so now, for all those who hate crocs, myself and my dd will be in almost matching pairs!..it was about $75 all together, will i get charged more when they come then as people keep mentioning taxes????

OP posts:
ChudleyMintonCanons · 17/07/2007 16:54

i had to pay VAT and a service charge to parcelforce - grrrrr. Still cheaper though, and got exactly what I wanted.

PinkChick · 17/07/2007 17:04

how much extra did you have to pay? did you also buy two pair??..for both of them from usa inc post im paying about the same price as buying one pair for myself over here!, just wish id thought on as friend has just come back from florida!

OP posts:
ChudleyMintonCanons · 17/07/2007 18:49

I bought 5 pairs plus some jibbitz, and had to pay £26, IIRC half that was a service charge from parcelforce, the remainder was VAT

PinkChick · 17/07/2007 21:35

well i initially orderd dp some flip flops too and the delivery for the three was $26???, but only $20 for mine and dd's??..so it may include the tax??, it did have tax section underneath with nothing in it??

OP posts:
ChudleyMintonCanons · 17/07/2007 22:25

I had to pay this amount to parcelforce before they would deliver the parcel, so it was on top of anything i paid taylorshoes.

PinkChick · 18/07/2007 10:59

hmm, so shouldnt taylors let you know this before you order???

OP posts:
ChudleyMintonCanons · 18/07/2007 14:45

it's up to UK customs, i think.

Fimbo · 18/07/2007 14:53

I order two pairs of trainers from an American site for myself and dh. The delivery charges came to about £17 which was ok as the trainers were much cheaper than I could have got them for in the UK. Then we were stung with extra customs - a whopping £32.80 which we had to pay to the UPS delivery driver.

ellasmum1 · 18/07/2007 15:09

I have had three separate orders of crocs from Taylor Shoes and service has been great.
Have not had any problem with customs yet. Maybe if its a multiple order rather than single it attracts customs attention!

I have a great not worn much pair of pink(mid pink not fuschia) kids cayman US size 10-11 if anyone interested. Think that wd be Uk 9-10. My dd had a growth spurt shortly after we received them.

PinkChick · 18/07/2007 15:19

those are the ones ive just orderd..damm hope i dont have to pay 30 odd pound when they turn up

OP posts:
dexter73 · 18/07/2007 17:25

Try rubbersole.co.uk as they had plenty in stock when I ordered some last week - £28.95 including delivery. They have also just sent me a promotional code for 5% discount - 'SUMMER'.

ellasmum1 · 18/07/2007 20:56

Not for kids Dexter- Rubbersole only have yellow cayman for kids and in hardly any sizes either!

shhhh · 19/07/2007 21:49

You usually pay 17.5% which is VAT. On my order which consisted of 3 adults and kids OR 2 adults and 2 kids I paid roughly £20 for VAT inc parcel force service charge.
Like others have said, it still worked out slightly cheaper than UK and the colours I wanted were not available in the uk. PINKchick, bless about matching....dd & I also have matching celery ones and pink ones..!!!
