mum's in credit at our local theatre and has told me i can have it if i can find a show to go to.
We live about five minutes away from our local theatre and kids are used to the theatre atmosphere as they appear in at least two of the shows there per year. They've been in a few musicals themselves but have never seen one at the theatre. Fame is on at the moment and i'm wondering whether they would enjoy it. They've seen "Sooty Bear" at the theatre before but it was a couple of years ago. I love him but don't know whether they'll think it a bit silly now. Anyone any ideas?

fame very grown up theme.

tissy · 12/07/2007 10:37

well, my 5 yr old would prefer Fame, even if she didn't understand the story.

HarrywillNOTfuckingdie · 12/07/2007 10:38

My DD is 7 and would feel too old for sooty

massivebigpantsface · 12/07/2007 10:38

sooty at age 9? i don't think they would enjoy that tbh. is there nothing else on?

choosyfloosy · 12/07/2007 10:38

Is there an expiry date? why not save it for a pantomime?

TBH I would bet that Fame is pretty raunchy and if they've seen it before maybe look for something else?

WendyWeber · 12/07/2007 10:39

They are a bit old for Sooty but even so I bet they'd enjoy it more.

cutekids · 12/07/2007 10:45

So....too old for Sooty and too young for "Fame"!!!!...Mum's in credit up until February but not much point in me keeping the tickets for the pantomime as the school takes them anyway!
Maybe i'll have to go and see "Chubby Brown" with hubbie instead...!.
(To be honest, he doesn't really appeal anymore. Kind of grown out of him!)
There's nothing else that really appeals to be honest. Is "Fame" that raunchy? My kids are quite aware kids if you know what I mean.

We took our ds to see chitty chitty bang bang at 3 which he loved!!

He loves any musical and is so in awe of the music (loud noise) instruments etc.

I don;t know about fame but I do know my ds would love it as it's a musical. What cert does the video have -assuming there is one?

lunavix · 12/07/2007 10:50
