I have two dc's and plan to leave dh, we are married, what are fairly standard arrangements if the Dad wants to be involved? Every other weekend or more often?and what would he be granted if it went through the courts?is there any chance they'd be taken off me?

Judges rarely take children off the mother unless she is unfit to look after them so wouldnt worry too much on that part. However its usual for them to grant visitation at least one day at the weekend and mid-week is sometimes usually given as well so that the children can maintain a relationship. If you plan to move abroad, he can contest this and get an order to stop you taking the children.

If you go to court there is always a chance you can lose, and it's very unlikely a court would allow the children to emigrate against their fathers' wishes.
