newlifenewname · 07/07/2007 11:30

Yes, I'm taking my 3 dc!

Not sure which day to go on though...

Sounds fab. Wish I was closer!

newlifenewname · 07/07/2007 11:38

I'm liking the idea of sausage making! Hoping that it will be practical taking the dc on my own. It'll be a bit of a birthday treat dor ds2who has his birthday on 17th.

How far are you Hula?

Just looked at your profile, shame - that is a bit far.

Sheffield!

If I had known about it a while back might have made arrangements though. Sounds like something DD would have loved.

WideWebWitch · 07/07/2007 11:42

I just read about this and really fancy it so maybe.

Summerfruit, is that is it far from London?

If so, then it is quit eeasy from where I am because the A41 takes you almost all the way there. You can get on the bypass off the M25 at Watford and go right through to Tring and beyond. It takes me 50 mins from Hemel Hempstead.

fillyjonk · 09/07/2007 14:25

nlnn

We ARE planning to go. Which day do you think you will be there?

Am kind of not mahoosively keen to post loads of details of where I will be and when, for convuluted reasons.

If you want, email me on [email protected]. It would be lovely to meet again and have a proper chat this time (I am assuming no Tentgate, no greyhounds)

Anyone else who wants to meet-do email me.

WideWebWitch · 15/07/2007 19:11

did anyone go? We went yesterday but weren't there long, I was STARVING and couldn't bear the queues to eat so we left fairly swiftly. I kept looking at people and wondering if they were mumsnetters.

GColdtimer · 15/07/2007 19:14

I went. I know who you are wicked. You were following me to the nearest pub to get some food because the queues were so long!

MrsWeasley · 15/07/2007 19:16

oh wish I'd seen this earlier
Was it good?

BBBBasilisk · 15/07/2007 19:18

I coundln't go even though only down the road as DD birthday today and had arranged party and everything.

My friend said ou saw them making pesto and sausages and there was loads to eat and she came awa with carrier bags of freebies.

harpsichordcuddler · 15/07/2007 19:28

Franny and I went and it was FAB. I didn't get too many freebies but there was loads to do for children. my only complaint was that it was all a bit spread out so it took ages to get from one to the other.
BBBB where are you then?

GColdtimer · 15/07/2007 19:33

I agree that it was good apart for the queues for the food stands! My friends dcs tried food they would never dream of eating at home.

I am from Abingdon by the way. How about the rest of you?

harpsichordcuddler · 15/07/2007 20:11

I am from near Abingdon too
